Chore Services is a supportive service designed to help frail elderly persons maintain a decent, independent living environment. Many elderly lack the physical stamina which some jobs require. Others lack the financial capability to purchase cleaning supplies or pay to have the work done. Whatever the circumstance, Chore Services stands ready to help.

Eligibility
Any frail person who is sixty years of age or older and who is a resident of Pinellas County is eligible to receive Chore Services. Even though priority is given to emergency situations, all clients are prioritized with special emphasis given to those that have the greatest economic or social need. Hundreds of needy elderly persons throughout Pinellas County are served every year.
Performance
Every client we serve receives a client evaluation form at the time of service and a self addressed stamped envelope to ensure 100% return. This is a useful tool in evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the service. Of the surveys received last year 99.3% were satisfied with the service; 97.9% said that the service met their needs; and 98.6% stated that Chore services helped them remain in their home and independent.
